Seriously… Saturday’s wedding was one for the record books. First, it was supposed to storm all day… but not a drop fell. Second, the couple pre-scouted an island that was 20 minutes (by boat) from the wedding site… and they were willing to take the time to GO to it! Thirdly, the island proved to be difficult to get close to due to water levels, so we settled on a neighboring sandbar… and EVERYONE agreed to wade in knee deep water to get out to it. Lastly, on the way back, our boat got stuck and the groomsmen had to get out to push us back into deeper water… and they laughed the whole time!

We LOVE compliant wedding parties! And we love adventurous brides and grooms. Thank you Dara and John for being SO much fun. I hope these teasers make you smile. And I hope it helps your parents agree that the hour long wait your guests had was totally worth it. Memories hard fought for are the BEST!

This is a whole different twist on a bridesmaid processional. Haha!

Another fantastic wedding this past weekend. Melissa and Alex are a dream couple… they’re relaxed and LOVE pictures. What more could a photographer ask for? Well, maybe unlimited time to shoot them and temps under 95 degrees! We were in the middle of no where for the ceremony, so we located a field on the way to the Hilton in Greenville and grabbed a few quick shots. Feel the love!
