How can a mother handle her baby turning FOUR?!?! I’m just at a loss! So I figured the best way to deal was to throw a fantastic party that just can’t ever be topped! Mabry is TOTALLY into ballerinas right now, and so I asked two girls from my church to come and lead the tiny dancers in the basics of ballet. Mabry’s joy was uncontainable! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

First, Mabry and Amy, who she called “my ballerina”. Seriously, how cute???

Mabry was a quick study and took it all in as if she was destined to be a dancer.

 

The goodie bags contained everything a girl loves…jewelry and sunglasses!

Sarah, one of the ballerinas, gave Mabry her old set of pointe shoes.

 

It was just the best party EVAH! And I’m thrilled that Mabry was so happy. If you see her at the studio or out in public somewhere, ask her about her ballerinas and she’ll beam all over again. Go on… do it!

We had an opportunity to do bit of a shoot for this wonderful couple Sunday. I fell in love with Beth’s family at her brother’s wedding last Summer and was so grateful to have the opportunity to take her pictures as well. It’s a beautiful thing to see God at work in people’s lives, and they’re certainly no exception. Jeff and I wish them a long and happy life together!

Jeff and I had a wonderful time at the bridal expo yesterday in Greenville. Got to get some face time with a few brides I haven’t seen since they booked and then got to talk with lots of newly engaged girls who had the “This is so much to take in” looks on their faces.

As for the studio, we’re almost at our quota for the year! Five or six more available slots and we’ll call it closed for the season. We’ll take one more in November and one more in December (we go lighter in these months because it’s already hectic due to Christmas orders). So if your wedding is in either of those months, you’ll want to get in touch soon! With our summer pretty much completely full, it’s Autumn’s turn to get the attention. September is wide open and all but October 4th is available as well.
