Session Fees:
$200 - Full hour (indoor OR outdoor)
$200 - Newborn Shoots
$250 - Full hour (indoor AND outdoor)
$50 - Quick Shoots (15 minutes/no proofs/white backdrop)
Welcome! The images that you’ll see here are all taken by my husband, Jeff, and myself. We’re a team (regardless of the name of the studio), and as the years have gone by, we’ve begun to notice the strengths that each of us bring to the table. This has resulted in a metamorphosis of our business from “all Melanie, all the time” (which was what we were a decade ago), to “mostly Melanie with a sprinkle of Jeff” (I joked about writing his name in sidewalk chalk outside of the studio), to “Hey, Jeff’s picture is better than mine!” (I’ll only type that once and I’ll never say it out loud). It’s a great place to be… two photographers who each offer creativity and modern twists on everyday life. And we’re blessed to have people who clamor to be our clients. What in the world!? We don’t deserve it, in and of ourselves. But we praise the One who makes it happen… and we thank those of you who care enough to return again and again. You help us live out the creativity that was placed inside of us before we were born. And we’re filled with awe that it’s something we are able to offer full-time. So give us a call… and regardless of whether or not you have me for a shooter, Jeff running the show, or both of us trading off, be ready to experience photography in ways that generations before never imagined.

Jessica and Justin were just an amazing couple to work with. They gave us the vision for their day and then let us run free with our interpretation of it. She was a vintage Hollywood bride all the way… from her bridal shoot (which I need to post now!) all the way though the wedding. It was romantic and dramatic and totally “Jessica”. We were so happy to work with their families and, to be honest, are a little sad that it’s over! At least I can count on some baby shoots in the next couple of years… right?? 
It’s actually quite insane that I’m a professional photographer and yet my kids rarely get photographed! It’s a classic case of the cobbler’s children have no shoes. But recently, we did get into the studio to mark Fin’s 12 week point. He’s such a little smiler now and I just couldn’t let that go by without getting it captured.
We actually caught his FIRST time to roll over while we were shooting these! What are the odds???
Even though I don’t walk around with a camera attached to my hands, we do seem to get sweet pictures at just the right moments. These are a few of recent shots of Fin (within the last couple of weeks) that I’d love to show off… our family just isn’t the same now that he’s on the scene. We’re so much more… complete. Such a blessing.
He wasn’t so sure about this whole “bath” thing. But he was a good sport over-all.
He especially loved getting dressed again.
This first one was actually taken with my Mama’s cheapy camera! Wouldn’t you know it snows when we left out cameras at the studio! Still, this is a shot for the baby book for sure! Fin’s first winter.
We took Fin to the Greenville Bridal Expo with us last Sunday. I think he was a hit. He MAY have taken attention from our photography! I should have thought about that before bringing such cuteness into the spotlight!
And one last one from this morning… marking his 12 week “anniversary” of entering this world!
Time to shake up the traditional Valentine cards! If you already have in-studio images on file with us, we can customize a set with your child’s picture! They’re $20 for the first set of 20 cards, and $15 for the second set. If you don’t have a shoot, or want a new one, schedule a Quick Shoot and the first set will be included in the $50 cost!
Either way, you pick five designs and up to five different images to be dropped in. They’re made from wallet size prints NOT cardstock. So they’re a wonderful little keep sake! Much better than handing out generic Sponge Bob!! Lots of designs to choose from! You can view them here!
